Canyons Minakami

Canyons Minakami is located just 2 hours from Tokyo nestled in the magnificent Tanigawa Range and being the headwaters of the mighty Tone River. Traditionally famous for it amazing nature and hot springs the town is now the outdoor adventure capital of Japan. See Minakami Area Info>

Canyons Minakami is the main base for Canyons operations and has extensive facilities including; Canyons Alpine Lodge, Canyons Alpine Cafe and Canyons Tours.  The base has a 300m2 deck overlooking the river, spacious BBQ area and plenty of games to keep all occupied.

Tours

Canyons Minakami most popular tours are rafting and canyoning but there are also a lot of other adventures you can combine with these, like; bungy jumping, downhill mountainbiking, lake canoeing and paragliding.

Alpine Lodge

Alpine Lodge is the accommodation in the same complex as the tours and cafe. Cozy private rooms families and couples or bunk rooms for groups.  If you stay at the lodge you also get great discounts on tours. Make the most of your weekend away by staying a day or two!
