Backcountry

The backcountry is the terrain away from the groomed slopes of the resort. Heading out into the backcountry allows you to experience untracked snow and escape the crowds, while enjoying the stunning natural scenery. It is the next step for intermediate skiers and boarders who are looking for their next challenge.

The basic tour is the perfect introduction to the backcountry for first timers or those that are not confident in riding powder. Our guides will teach you the basics skills needed for being safe in bc terrain; route finding, beacon skills, group dynamics and of course tips for riding powder.
