Here at Canyons we are always on the look-out for great new places to have fun. Our main base is in Gunma but we have discovered some great courses in Niigata, Yamanashi, Izu and Okutama that we frequently run. We're actively scouting new locations each season to bring you the very best adventures Japan has to offer.
Special Canyoning Tours
Our Special Canyoning Expeditons take the adventure up to the next level so we ask all participants to have experienced a canyoning tour with us before. With the basics under your belt you will be fully prepared for the unique challenges each new location offers.
Full Day Special Canyoning Tours
Maple Canyon(Minakami)
Way upstream from the half day start point is where we jump in, straighht into the increadible Ootaki section. A great full day tour with some increadible scenery and action!

Deer Canyon(Agatsuma)
Many waterfalls to dense between the just 250m "YODATEHATTAKI", it is the world level of canyoning field.

Yamanashi Canyon
This is it! If you want to test your thrill boundaries then Yamanashi is for you. Freesliding BIG waterfalls and some great jumps. Over 2.5kms of canyoning bliss!

One of the most beautiful Canyon sections in Japan is packed with jumps and rapells. 60min + walk in menas that only the fit should try this one!

One of only 2 hot spring canyons in the world! In parts of the course the water is as warm as 30deg C. A very unique canyon that dramatically finishes in a great 40m waterfall.
