Access

Canyons Minakami Access

By Train:
Take the Takasaki Line from Ueno to Minakami Stn. (about 3 hours) OR
Take the Joetsu Bullet train from either Tokyo or Ueno Stn. to JomoKogen Stn. (about 70 mins)

By Car:
Take the Kanetsu Expresway from Nerma to Minakami IC (about 2 hours)

Canyons Minakami

From the Minakami IC
Turn left after coming off IC. Take next left at traffic lights and follow R291 for around 5kms. At the Oana traffic lights (4th set after turning left) turn right. Follow the road for about 500m, (as you cross the bridge you can see Canyons upstream) take the first left after the bridge, Canyons is 100m on the left.
NOTE: If you enter the Canyons phone number into your car navi it may take you to a location 1.5kms away. Best to use the address.

WARNING:
ON weekends an public holidays the roads can become extremely crowded. It is best to leave well in advance in order to arrive on time. Please contact us if you are unsure.

 

Canyons Akagi Access

By Train:
90mins from Tokyo Stn to Shibukawa Stn.

By Car:
80 mins from Nerima on the Kanetsu Expressway

Canyons Akagi

From Shibukawa IC
At IC go towards Shibukawa city and follow route 17 for aroun 5kms. Cross  the ? Bridge and turn right and follow thr road 600m to the Canyons Akagi Base.

From Akagi IC
At the T intersection just after the IC turn left and follow thr road for 5 mins, at the 3rd set of traffic lights turn right, cross thr bridge and turn right at the traffic lights onto route 17. Cross  the ? Bridge and turn right and follow thr road 600m to the Canyons Akagi Base.

Note: Route 17 becomes very crowded on weekends and public holidays.

 

Canyons Agatsuma Access

By Train:
125 mins from Tokyo to NaganoharaKusatsuguchi Stn.

By Car:
3 hours from Nermia on the Kantsu Epressway

Canyons Agatsuma

Take the Kanetsu Expressway to Shibukawa I.C. then take route 145 towards Kusatsu. When you get to Naganohara Kusatsuguchi Station follow R292 until R405. At the Yodate Bus stop there is a road climbing the hill (T junction) you should see Canyons sign here. Follow the Canyons sign to the base at the top of the hill.

WARNING:

  • R145 can get very congested on weeknds and public holidays
  • Do not inppu the adrdress of the base into your car navigation system it will take you to a location 30kms away
